Meeting with Marcin Borkowski at ‘Join the Game’
Marcin Borkowski
Our guest, Marcin Borkowski – widely known as ‘Borek’ – is an icon of the computer press. As editor of the legendary magazines ‘Bajtek’, ‘Top Secret’ and ‘Pixel’, he has been documenting and helping shape the history of Polish computer games for decades. He is also the author of the cult classic ‘Pandora’s Box’, as well as more recent works such as ‘A USB Stick Found in the Grass’, ‘The Case of Andrew D.’ and the book ‘Postponed Tidying Up’. During the event, participants will hear behind-the-scenes stories about the beginnings of the Polish computer scene, the challenges of editorial work in the past, and memories from the days when the industry was taking its first pioneering steps.
