Polish Gamedev Round Table

The meeting is a follow-up to the MKiDN x Gamedev event held in October 2025, the aim of which was for the industry to draw up proposals for the government.

Topics

Participants debated the following at three thematic round tables:

  • Formal education – facilitator: Michał Mochocki (University of Gdańsk),
  • Non-formal education – facilitated by: Ewa Maria Szczepanowska (Interactive Culture Foundation),
  • Legal aspects – facilitated by Michał Pękała (Rymarz Zdort Maruta).

The discussions were attended by representatives from public administration, universities, industry organisations, and experts. Conclusions drawn from the three-day discussions were used in the Sectoral Council for Competences – Gaming and GameDev subsequent activities to develop training recommendations and strengthen cooperation between the industry, the education sector and public administration.
