Polish Video Game Days – A New International Initiative Promoting Polish Games

We are proud to announce the organization of the first edition of Polish Video Game Days, launching this October. This celebration will promote our domestic industry on the international market and showcase the value of Polish games as a key medium for culture, innovation, and core values.

The Polish Video Games logo is displayed on a light background. On the left is a red, geometric structure made of three-dimensional modules, and on the right is the black inscription "POLISH VIDEO GAMES."

Polish Video Game Days is a pioneering initiative created in cooperation with the public sector and industry leaders. Key participants involved in its implementation include the Ministry of Culture and National Heritage, Polish development studios, and industry partners, including the GOG.com platform and the Indie Games Poland Foundation.

Polish games are one of the most recognizable showcases of our culture and innovation abroad.

Main Goals and Event Program

The main objective of this new industry celebration is to reach audiences worldwide and demonstrate to the general public that Polish games are not only excellent entertainment but also a vital branch of contemporary culture.

This year's edition features:

An immersive exhibition dedicated to the history of Polish video games

A unique space that utilizes modern technologies to present the evolution of the domestic industry – from pioneering productions of the late 80s and 90s all the way to today's blockbusters.

Global digital promotion

Sales campaigns, showcases, and promotional events on digital distribution platforms (including GOG.com), enabling domestic creators to reach an international audience.

On-site and professional development events

Initiatives aimed at the professional development of the Polish sector, panel discussions, and presentations of the diversity of Polish games to people outside the industry.

Community integration

Involving the largest Polish companies, independent (indie) developers, and industry organizations in cyclical activities to promote Poland as one of the key game development hubs in the world.

We want to create a permanent, cyclical support platform for domestic developers to help them effectively promote their projects on the global markets. We also aim to bring the extraordinary history and achievements of Polish gamedev closer to the general public through a dedicated immersive exhibition.
