The first panel will focus on the contemporary relationship between fashion, new technologies and the body. We will be joined by Katarzyna Konieczka – costume designer and avant-garde fashion designer, Rafał Reif – consultant in the fashion and retail sectors, Karolina Sulej – cultural anthropologist and activist with the Kraina Foundation, and Michał Szulc – fashion designer, academic lecturer and artistic director. The session will be moderated by Magdalena Christofi from Creative Industries Institute.
The panel will provide a space for an exchange of experiences between representatives of the creative sector, business and academia, and for discussion on an interdisciplinary approach to the development of the creative industries.
The second panel will focus on the use of new technologies in fashion design, documentation and presentation. The discussion will cover issues related to 3D scanning and modelling, the creation of digital equivalents of designs, and their use in virtual, immersive and interactive environments.
Participants will also learn about the potential for using digital resources in brand communication, archiving the design process, creating immersive experiences, and developing games and interactive applications. The activities of Futuremode – European Fashion Innovation Hub initiative will also be presented. This initiative supports collaboration between the fashion sector and new technologies, as well as the development of future-oriented skills.
The panel will feature Marlena Woolford, Anna Syczewska, Waldek Szymkowiak and Aleksandra Szymańska, Director of Creative Industries Institute. The event is aimed at designers, manufacturers, representatives of cultural institutions and anyone interested in the use of new technologies in the fashion sector and creative industries.
