Tilda Swinton – Ongoing at our headquarters

An extraordinary project in industrial space
This is the first project of its kind and on this scale to be held in the South Hall at IPK headquarters that has not previously been open to the public. ‘Tilda Swinton – Ongoing’ is the most personal project by a unique figure in contemporary cinema, namely the Scottish actress, Oscar winner, performer and artist. The exhibition, curated by Amsterdam’s Eye Filmmuseum in close collaboration with Tilda Swinton, is coming to Poland for the first time.
The exhibition will feature works by artists who have collaborated with Tilda Swinton over the years on films, performances and art projects: Pedro Almodóvar, Luca Guadagnino, Joanna Hogg, Derek Jarman, Jim Jarmusch, Olivier Saillard, Tim Walker and Apichatpong Weerasethakul. Each brings their own artistic language to the table, creating a polyphonic narrative about cinema, art and collaboration.
Furthermore, whilst the Amsterdam and subsequent Athens editions of the exhibition were held in year-round exhibition venues, it will be hosted here in the post-industrial space of the former Polish Press Agency printing works. The exhibition layout was designed by the multi-award-winning architect Maciej Siuda.
The organiser of the ‘Tilda Swinton – Ongoing’ exhibition is the Malta Festival, one of the most interesting cultural festivals in Poland under the patronage of Dominika Kulczyk.
