Join the Game: 40 Years of Polish Games

Join the Game is an interactive exhibition showcasing the achievements of the Polish video game industry since its inception in 1986. The exhibition features eight playable stations with Polish titles, a large-format wall map showcasing the most important domestic locations featured in the games, a film summarising the history of the industry – with clips from 44 games spanning the last 40 years – and display cases with physical exhibits.

MeetUp65

An integral part of the project was the series of weekly MeetUp65 events, held every Thursday at 5:00 pm. These featured guest appearances by game developers, including Marcin Borkowski (creator of *Pandora’s Box*), Maciej Miąsik (xLand), Adrian Chmielarz (The Astronauts), Piotr Babieno (Bloober Team), Katarzyna Kraińska (CD Projekt RED), Szymon Łukasik (indie), Michał Neugarten (indie) and Michał Sokolski (CI Games).

The project is aimed at gaming enthusiasts, pop culture fans and those interested in computer technology. Its aim is to promote the image of the Polish gaming industry as an important part of national culture.
