AI Art Biennale in Kraków

The Biennale programme will comprise over a dozen days of events organised at Kraków’s most important cultural venues, including the Potocki Palace, Wesoła Immersive, the Design Pharmacy and the Małopolska Science Centre Cogiteon. The programme will feature exhibitions, an academic conference, artistic performances, workshops, lectures, project presentations and meetings with artists and experts.

The event will bring together 45 artists, researchers and experts representing seven countries. Projects on display combine perspectives from contemporary art, new technologies, science and education, showcasing diverse ways in which artificial intelligence is utilised in creative and research activities.

The Biennale’s programme focuses on the use of artificial intelligence in creative processes, the ethical aspects of AI development, new models of collaboration between the artistic and scientific communities, and the impact of technology on the development of contemporary culture. The event will create a space for an exchange of experiences, presentation of innovative projects and discussions on responsible implementation of new technologies in the creative sector.

Our partnership forms part of our efforts to support the development of Poland’s creative industries and to foster collaboration between the cultural, scientific and new technology sectors. Participation in the Biennale will enable participants to establish relationships with representatives of cultural institutions, art colleges and research communities, as well as to exchange experiences with experts specialising in the development of artificial intelligence in the creative field.

Taking part in the event will also help to identify directions for the development of the creative sector and solutions that can be utilised when planning future IPK programmes, particularly in the areas of education, internationalisation and the promotion of innovation. Our partnership with the International AI Art Biennale strengthens our presence within the international cultural and new technology community and reaffirms IPK’s role as an institution supporting the development of modern creative industries in Poland.
