During Polish Music Day, held in our Labo hall, the prestigious ‘Gloria Artis – For Services to Culture’ medals were presented to outstanding artists who have been shaping the sound and identity of the Polish music scene for many years. This exceptional state honour serves as a token of gratitude for their immense contribution to the development of Polish culture.

Outstanding artists awarded the ‘Gloria Artis – For Services to Culture’ medals

The Gold Medal “Gloria Artis – For Services to Culture” was awarded to:
- Wanda Kwietniewska – the legendary singer and frontwoman of the band Wanda i Banda, as well as the dedicated chair of the Board of the SAWP Association
- Katarzyna Nosowska – one of the most distinctive figures on the Polish music scene, who has been delighting audiences for years both as the frontwoman of the band Hey and through her moving solo projects.
The Silver ‘Gloria Artis’ Medal for Services to Culture was awarded to:
- Artur Rojek – composer, lyricist and co-creator of the successes of the bands Myslovitz and Lenny Valentino. He was also recognised for his work as an organiser of highly regarded festivals, consistently creating opportunities for the next generation of young musicians to grow.
