MeetUp65: Music Lab

As part of this upcoming event, we will trace the journey taken by artists: from their first steps in the industry through to legendary status on the music scene. The session will focus on commercial success born of passion and perseverance:

From workshops to debut: a case study of the band Przebiśniegi (Fonobo and Przebiśniegi)

During this discussion, we will explore the story behind one of the most interesting and distinctive musical debuts in recent years. Our guest experts will explain how a grassroots creative initiative evolved into a fully professional music project that secured official support and a contract with the renowned Fonobo Label.

Breaking into the market: the business side of creativity (Marika Koasidis)

Marika Koasidis (representing the brand Uszy.Te Muzyka Szyta Na Miarę) will focus on an artist’s survival in the market. She will discuss the professionalisation of image-building activities, constructing a portfolio that attracts partners, and the right time to start working with a manager.

The artist-journalist relationship: behind the scenes of life as a legend (Marek Piekarczyk and Leszek Gnoiński)

A unique conversation featuring Marek Piekarczyk (TSA) and journalist Leszek Gnoiński, centred on their joint work on the biography Zwierzenia kontestatora. The panellists will discuss topics such as building mutual trust, the limits of promotion, and ethics in documenting the history of Polish rock.
